uk.people.silversurfers meets 2012 ...... Proudly Presents ...... Newcastle upon Tyne Saturday 18th August 2012

Early breakfasters, meet at The Mile Castle (Wetherspoons) from 09:30. If anyone is coming later than that you can just join in when you get there. We'll be leaving Wetherspoons around 10:45 ish. .

If anyone is coming earlier or staying the night before then let me know and we can make suitable arrangements. We live only about 4 miles from the pub and will probably be in town at about 09:00 arriving at the pub around 09:30. Also anyone who wants to arrive later in the day should contact me to swap mobile details so that we can make arrangements for meeting up later.

After leaving there we'll move to the The Discovery Museum. Those who visited here during the last Newcastle meet can finish off what they missed last time and any newcomers (that'll be PeteC then) can just have a good look around.

I suggest that those of you who have a free bus pass (are you reading this Janet?) bring it with you as we will probably take to the buses to get about at some point. Other than the above I don't propose to do any more formal organising of the day - we'll just see what happens and, of course, the weather may have a say too. In the worst case we may just have to find somewhere suitable to keep dry (on the outside only of course).
